What a weird movie, I didn't know what to think of it exactly. It seemed like it wanted to play the 'Hollywood is really fake and commercial' so a lot of the characters and a bit of the storyline reflected that (there is a death scene at the beginning of the film that no one seems to really take seriously and much of the acting seems that way too).
But at the same time there is a seemingly genuine story about a talented girl who 'just wants to make it'. So it ended up being this messy combination of the two and it didn't seem to really work.
