For starters great soundtrack. A cast that's both gorgeous and likable cast. The characters have good chemistry, the jokes actually do get a laugh. The plot isn't a predictable cookie cutter plot, it actually does keep you guessing.
The references to the original series are great. Is it a campy and ridiculous? Yes. Is it fun, action packed, enjoyable and entertaining, definitely. If you're looking for a fun summer film, this is 100% the one.
