Review of Baywatch (2017) by Billy G — 27 May 2017
The problem with 'Baywatch' is simple: its just not very funny. Its actually kinda boring. The women are there to just stand around and look pretty while Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron get the comedic roles.
Efron is the funniest part. He's given the best one-liners, with his delivery and comedic timing spot-on. Sadly he isn't enough to save 'Baywatch' from drowning. Maybe I needed to have watched more of the TV show to appreciate this movie.
But then again, if the show is like the movie, I think I'm OK with missing out on it.
