Review of Battlestar Galactica: The Plan (2009) by Rodri C — 01 Jan 2010
Whereas the last Battlestar movie (Razor) felt like an interesting extended episode, this final Battlestar movie feels like a batch of deleted scenes from seasons 1 and 2. There is some good stuff here: love the extra Stockwell business, the Simon characterization, and â??his suit was burgundy, this is tealâ?? but it just doesnâ??t work as a standalone flick and feels a little bittersweet after the awesome trek of season 4.
Plus, why all the pointless nudity? It feels totally out of tone with the rest of the seriesâ??gratuitous, â??Hey This Is A Real R Rated Movie!!!!â?? Meh. This is strictly for Battlestar fans. VF.
