Review of Battlestar Galactica: Razor (2007) by Clinton K — 31 Jan 2008
A film good enough to stand alone on its own merits separate from the series. Viewed through the narrative thread of a young officer, Kendra Shaw (Stephanie Chaves-Jacobsen) we follow the story of the Pegasus from just before the Pearl-Harbor style attack on the Colonial Fleet to various regrettable incidents along the way perpetrated by the Pegasus and her crew.
The mythology of the series is fleshed out further, and we get to see some flashbacks of a young William Adama during the first Cylon war, and 70's era Cylons. More pieces of the puzzle are introduced, and apocalyptic signs of things to come.
