Review of Battlestar Galactica: Razor (2007) by Dan T — 25 Jun 2009
I'm glad they made this, because it definitely fills in a lot of the details about what happened on the Pegasus -- things that they just alluded to during the show that sounded like it would make a good movie/episode. plus, they went further into exploring a lot of Admiral Cain's motivations, and why she became the way she did, in particular with regard to her treatment of the prisoner.
Anyway, plenty of action and stuff to keep the viewer entertained. I liked this better than the miniseries pilot, since the story has obviously come much further along. the only criticism I have about this one, was that it packs a lot of important information into a short amount of time, particularly about the hybrid project and the evolution of the Cylons. would have liked if they maybe made this about half an hour longer to really dig deep into that part of the story.
Definitely a good way to cover up the faults of season 3, which was probably the weakest i've seen so far. looking forward to moving onto season 4 this weekend!
