Review of Battleship Potemkin (1925) by Gabriel D — 28 Jun 2007
A slow movie at parts, but it was made in the 20s. It has an excuse. Other then a few very boring sweep scenes of buildings, the movie is extremely powerful and dramatic (climaxing in the famous Odessa Massacre scene), perhaps eclipsing Triumph of the Will in Propaganda Power.
