The groundbreaking soviet montage film that revolutionized cinema. The only film that has consistently been on Sight & Sounds top ten poll since the 50s. The Odessa steps sequence is among the greatest pioneering moments of film editing.
The film may be propaganda but Eisenstein was saying something vital and relevant.
