Review of Battleship (2012) by Chris S — 27 May 2013
I put off seeing this film for quite sometime as I was not sure if this film would interest me as the 12 certificate cast a doubt in my mind that it was gonna be too child friendly film. im a sucker for a good action packed film and the sfx sequences were pretty amazing and made me cheer when the aliens finally got blown up lol.
the acting was surperb and being a liam neeson fan I enjoyed his scenes. bit gutted didnt see him in involved in major parts of the action though. the film did have a cartoony feel to it which made it poor in my view.
it is definatly independence day at sea and some scenes were disapointing. even though I enjoyed the film I would not see it again which is the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.
