Surprisingly decent. They obviously spent the money in the right place - special effects and music rights - resulting in a earnest, enthusiastic, but not-quite-there cast, some - ok, lots - of really cheesy situations, events, cliches, tropes, and lines, but a fairly interesting adaptation of the game and naval tactics right from the 1400's. The fact that all the aliens look like the hulk version of James Hetfield is additionally hilarious.

Reasonably light, fun movie that doesn't take too much brain and delivers ok.
