There are times when I like to watch bad movies, if just for the fun that can be had picking at all that is wrong with them. Where do I start with Battlefiield Earth? This is bad in every possible way (story, acting, editing).
At least bad movies like Plan 9 From Outer Space are bad in a fun way. Battlefield Earth is excruciating! Even under all that makeup, there is no escaping from my feeling that whenever Travolta plays villains, he comes across as camp rather than villainous.
