Review of Battle Royale (2000) by Hadeer A — 11 May 2012

The Japanese are the masters of the shock horror genre this past decade and this is one of the breakout movies that showed the West just how far things can be pushed and still be great fun to watch. Simple plot, identifiable characters, arterial spray and children forced to fight on an island.

Horror fans can enjoy the mayhem and splatter fans get their does of blood too, not for the fainthearted it is a must see for those who love their movies original, powerful and bloody imaginative.
