An entertaining and well-acted retelling of true events, which resonates to the here and now. Carrell delivers a strong performance, but its Stone's work that is the standout. She gives a moving and nuanced portrayal, which ranks as her best to-date.
Despite the narrative not digging deeper in certain aspects, the movie remains engaging, funny, heartfelt, and touching.
