Battle of the Sexes - Review (2017).
The Good.
Emma Stone as Billie Jean King - She is phenomenal and almost unrecognizable as her, I wouldn't call it her best performance ever since La La Land is her best performance.
Steve Carell as Robert Larimore Riggs - He is really great, Carell just gets better and better.
Sarah Silverman as Gladys Heldman - She is really good.
Bill Pullman as Jack Kramer - Definitely makes it up for his awful performance in Independence Day: Resurgence.
Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris Direction.
The Battle of the Sexes Match.
The Bad.
It does take a long time to get to the Battle of the Sexes.
The Score is just ok.
I know her love affair was real but it just wasn't compelling and she was her Secretary not Hair Dresser.
Overall Grade: This is a good movie with Emma Stone and Steve Carell carrying the movie.
Overall Grade: B+.
