Review of Battle of the Sexes (2017) by Sue B — 03 Feb 2018

I didn't enjoy this movie. I see where it could have been a good movie. But it just didn't really feel real to me. It felt like acting. I thought the relationship with the main character and her hairdresser was overblown.

There wasn't really any good humor to me. Alot of it felt forced. I didn't think the direction felt very good either. I'm surprised this is fresh, but I guess with today's political and social climate I can see where people feel this should be a "good movie".

And I get that the history portrayed in this movie is important and a good story to tell today. It just didn't work for me.
