Although a little too long the battle here is very well put together. It uses vast arenas to show the scale and importance of the encounter. For me Robert Shaw as the German tank comander was outstanding.
Telly Savalas also had a great character who has heart throughout but the direction of his passion shifts and he moves with it excellently.
