Review of Battle of the Bulge (1965) by Todd P — 15 Jun 2005
I have watched this movie often when appearing on TV. I always enjoy it. Although the characters are composites of real people, it tells the story well enough so that you don't get bogged down in too many details.
The worst thing about this movie is the incredibly bad death throes of soldiers that are killed. ever since I was a kid, these scenes crack me up. The way many of them "died" was exactly how I acted when play army as a child.
In addition, some of the special effects are not to swift but, hey, it was 1965. It is a great flick if you are into war movies. Just don't take it tooooo seriously when some of the above flaws show up.
Buy it, watch it, keep it.
