Review of Battle of Britain (1969) by Joshua G — 08 Jun 2007
Guy Hamilton's 1969 film about the conflict where "so much was owed to so few" is nearly as big and glorious as the real thing, with fantastic aerial photography and dogfight sequences throughout.
Unfortunately, it suffers from an all-star cast of big names all vying for screen time. With such a plethora of characters there isn't enough time to fully develop them all. The all time British hero, Kenneth More, has a brief role.
