Review of Battle of Britain (1969) by Sean H — 08 Nov 2007
I saw this film in St Stithians College (Jo'burg) and beforehand my mother told me it involved "a lot of dog fights" (thus my sister had to stay at home). I never expected the stunning airborne dog-fight sequences and as a kid the vapour trails marking the twisting turns of the dog-fight were pure magic.
.. Today I still look up at the vapour trails over London and think â??Achtung! Spitfire!'.
