Review of Battle of Britain (1969) by Yasmin W — 17 Feb 2008
My brother and I used to watch this movie all the time when we were kids. We got the DVD a couple of years ago. While I am opposed to war in all forms and think violence is not the answer to any problem this was a really great film.
The human element to the war, there are no heros only losers in war and why there should never be a war to loose our young generations. It hasn't aged like some movies from the past compared to the present, it is still relevent, still powerful, still sad, still brave and still (somehow) hopeful for the future.
