Review of Battle of Britain (1969) by Bill T — 05 Jul 2010
Pretty good movie that documents the pounding the Brits took before they joined up with other air forces and blew dose Nazis out of the sky. The film is quite spectacular when it's in the air, but when it's on the ground, it gets quite disjointed.
Many different subplots are briefly touched upon, but they're quickly disposed of and we're back in the air again. Enjoyable if you're into the airplane battle aspects of war, but slightly dull if you're looking for more substance (Angels One Five is a better example of an airplane squadron movie on the ground).
