Review of Battle: Los Angeles (2011) by Ryan K — 02 Feb 2014

Good but terrible cinematography and bad character development causes the movie to lack what it could have become. Some shots impressed me especially the scene at night where we just see the burning and wasted city of LA in the distance was pretty damn cool.

I wish that they could have done something more in it to make it grander and better than most alien invasion films. but it was cardboard bland B movie stupidity. Now with the negatives out the positive is that it was pretty fun and it wasn't the worst movie I have seen.

I mean it has some cool moments and it wasn't a movie I wanted to take seriously. I just wanted to shut my brain off and have fun.
