Review of Battle: Los Angeles (2011) by James B — 20 May 2012
Lots of people that I talked to before watching this said it was very, very similar to Independence Day minus the all-star cast that was in that flick. They were right. The storyline was so similar. The only thing that was different from the Independence Day storyline is the absence in this movie of the element of government.
There are no speeches by presidents or panic in the white house. This film has a front line view of what could be the very same infestation of aliens. Great action, but storyline is just too similar for me.
