A mostly preposterous story of aliens invading the world by pretending to be meteors is made to work by the courage and heart of the American Marine. SSgt. Nantz and his ragtag group of Marines give the aliens hell and show what makes us humans resilient, the ability to think on our feet and change plans accordingly.
Lots of war action, Michelle Rodriguez and Bridget Moynahan help to wrap it all into a very good package.
