Review of Battle: Los Angeles (2011) by Zri — 21 Jun 2011

I'm quite surprised by the generally negative attitude toward this movie. While it's nothing particularly original, I think it does a lot of things right. I look upon it as Independence Day without a lot of the overly sentimental American overtones (ok, it still has a lot of military gung ho attitude, but it's an alien war movie, let's be realistic).

With that attitude, I think it's a much more successful movie, and thus very watchable and enjoyable. Worth seeing.
