Review of *batteries not included (1987) by Ashley H — 28 Aug 2010
I love this movie and I think that is really interesting, because is not a typical sci-fi movie where we have to get bored with a scientific and ununderstandable explanation of how the spaceships were made. It just shows a fantasy story about a poor group of inhabitants of an almost demolished building, that want to save their home from being destroyed only for build up an enterprise, but when they think that all is lost and they have to give up, sudden appears help for them, two small spaceships that will give them support for face the problems that they have.
Probably many people think that the story is silly and ridiculous and that the spaceships were pathetic too, but I think that is an enjoyable movie, a kind of movie that we don't see anymore in these days, because extraterrestrials now are old-fashioned, but is a good souvenir from the latest 80's.
The music is fantastic, i'm talking about the jazz at the begining, is really beautiful that song, it's calm and sweet. I really love this movie is one of my favorites.
