Review of Batman vs. Robin (2015) by Daniel T — 23 May 2015
This movie has done something that very few entries have done throughout the years: give an original story to Damian Wayne. Yes, he had made his appearance in Son of Batman, but this story (VERY loosely based on the Batman storyline The Court of Owls) is the first to belong not to Batman, but to the latest Robin.
Points taken off for a very useless Nightwing; his presence in this movie doesn't add anything, even witty banter the way he did in Batman: Under the Red Hood. Also, some points should be taken off for a less-than-menacing Court of Owls.
The appeal of a secret organization is the mystique that surrounds it. None of that was present in this movie.
