Review of Batman vs. Robin (2015) by Lewis E — 04 Apr 2015
Delivers the reliable quality of animated fight choreography meaning it is still fun for hardcore Batman fans but 'Batman vs Robin' is might be the worst animated movie of the caped crusader to date.
On one hand, it is good they stepped out of the common villain gallery and incorporated the mysterious Court of Owls to provide a strong threat to Batman. On the other hand, the story wasn't as interesting and it is always a pity not to come across at least one of the recognisable villains of the Batman universe.
Also, Batman appeared too vulnerable, frequently coming out the loser in his battles, and the film retreads the conventional themes of the Wayne Parents' tragedy and the hero's principle on killing.
So despite decent fight scenes, it is not great; however the mere fact it is Batman will draw people in.
