Review of Batman vs. Robin (2015) by Steve W — 03 Jun 2015
Batman vs. Robin is especially confusing for me, since I am a big reader of comics. Not only is the title exactly like the Dick Grayson Batman and Damian pairing series, but it also combines the stories of Batman & Robin: Born to Kill, Batman: The Court of Owls/City of Owls, and Talon.
The result is an animated feature with very well done animated fight scenes. This feels more like an animated martial arts feature, which is a nice change of pace. Too bad the Court of Owls storyline is all background noise, and the main villains should have been Henri Ducard, instead of Talon. The result is an uneven but entertaining enough outing, and definitely better than Son of Batman.
