There was a ton of potential for this movie. You can feel where the original Superman story was disrupted to add in more Batman. This COULD have been an engaging Superman story and explored more of the God-Man themes.
The extended version sheds more light into where this was going - and is a much better movie. Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman debut was a silver lining. I also find Affleck to be a very compelling Batman/Bruce Wayne - he works that duality really well.
Bummed that the execution wasn't better - but still enjoyed it to a degree.
