Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) by Adam K — 01 Jun 2017

I have to update my rating a little bit. I rewatched the movie many times since its release. The performances are still pretty outstanding to me,however the movie struggles with the story,which crammed source material worth of four separate movies.

The motivations are very unclear,and the very problematic on which the story is based on,could be resolved by a conversation between the main heroes. The fight itself had some very entertaining moments,however it felt short of expectations as it was built throughout the whole movie and then ended before you could notice.

Shame...this movie introduces the two biggest comic book heroes together for the first time,and fails to deliver. The DCEU seems to rush things and the built-up to this fight isn't earned in the slightest.

But Ben Affleck still remains the definitive Batman for me.
