Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) by Ryan T — 15 Jun 2017
By far the worst film in either the Batman or Superman canon. Amy Adams was a terrible cast as Lois Lane in the first film, and yet DC managed to mangle a cast and character even worse in this film when they tagged Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and then made Luthor a sniveling neurotic crybaby for the entire film.
Ben Affleck as Batman is only the third worst casting match in this film, and that says a lot to how bad this film is. The only aspect worse than the casting is that pesky plot, though the dialogue is also quite boring.
The only reason this film gets one star is because of the addition of Gadot as Wonderwoman and the set up for the Justice League, which were the only good parts in the film.
