Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) by Bryant P — 09 Jan 2018
It's greatest crime is its own ambition and because of it loses focus on the two most crucial aspects: the actual storytelling and the characters within it. With too many agendas and the vision of a stubborn contrarian, too little makes sense and the movie despite having some genuinely good moments is pretentious and dull without earning its pedigree.
Shame because it had the right idea just the wrong man for the job. Now look at the DCEU.
