Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) by Kingofrock — 12 Apr 2016
Batman V Superman is a mixed bag for me. It was a movie that was plagued with really bad pacing at the beginning of the movie. Because of this the first 45 minutes or so felt like 3 random movies featuring Batman, Superman, and Lex Luther poorly pieced together with chewed up bubble gum holding them together. There were also pointless dream sequences and viewers have to suffer through another Batman original story at the beginning, which no one needs to see in 2016. We have all seen it.
That being said, the movie does get better towards the end. The acting was great and I found Superman to be more likable than I have found him before, and I've never been a big Superman fan. The ending was very strong. With a different cut this movie would have been much better. It's a shame the opening few minutes bogged it down and kept it from its potential.
