What the hell were the boys at Warner thinking? Who in the world would take their children to see this utterly harrowing, violent, dark excercise in miserability. Not to say there's there's not loads to like.
Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill fill out their roles beautifully and Jesse Eisenberg makes a marvellously twitchy Lex Luthor. Be warned though the ending will leave you bereft even if you only slightly believed !
