Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) by Kalden K — 26 Nov 2017
This film shows the anger two characters (Batman and Superman) purchase about one another, which makes a good reason why they should fight. They also had an accurate picture of both main characters. Wonder Woman's appearance in the film made it better, and I believe Jesse Eisenberg was an exceptional portrayal of Lex Luthor, since Lex Luthor had a crazier personality before he became what he normally was.
The less important talking scenes made the movie longer for no reason, but I made an exception for that since most of them lead to a darker and hate relationship for Batman and Superman. In an a film where "Action" and "Adventure" was the genre, I believed that the main characters will be the ones experiencing that genres, but the film left us with an 8 minute fight between Batman and Superman, and at least 20 minutes of fighting time for the two.
Before this film even had its trailers and what not, people already thought that Superman would easily win this fight against Batman, since he is basically a God, while Batman is nothing, but a man with everything.
Lastly, what was disappointing to me was how the two's fight ended. It ended in, "Why did you say that name?!", which the name was referring to Martha, which I am really confused about. Meaning, if Superman's mother is not named "Martha", would Batman just kill Superman instead?
