Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) by Max H — 19 Oct 2016

This review is for the ULTIMATE EDITION of Batman V Superman.

Best film of the DCEU beyond Justice League. It had a compelling story and interesting characters. The best Batman fight scene ever, you know what I am talking about. Also, both title characters had solid character arcs, Bruce feels that he is helpless in saving his city and the world and he loses sight of himself and why he was the Batman. When Superman said, "Martha", he stopped because he was reminded of why he was doing all this. Superman didn't feel like Earth was his world the way people were treating him, he says many times throughout the film, "This isn't my world." In the third act he realizes Lois is his world and he would do anything to save it that is why he sacrificed himself. He even says, "You are my world." I just didn't like all the questions left unanswered. It felt like a series premiere at times.
