Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) by Ryan S — 07 Nov 2016
I really enjoyed it. This movie wasn't what the critics wanted it to be. It's pretty much what I wanted this one to be. That's not to say it isn't without Its share of flaws and it lacked a bit of fluidity at times for moviegoers that don't want to see social questions play out on screen without action. It reminded me of reading multiple comics from a mini-series. Slow build, develop characters and then big finale. I actually enjoyed the story that was told here.
There is also some weird agenda in trashing anything not coming from Marvel Studios these days from fanboys and certain critics.
The portrayal of Bruce Wayne/Batman is my favorite out of all the Batman movies ever. It was cool seeing a veteran Batman do his thing without having to learn how to fight.
Not for everyone but the trashing of this movie is silly. It's not terrible.
