Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) by Vini L — 13 Feb 2017
I want to talk about the good and the bad this movie had. First off, I want to congratulate ben affleck, I was looking forward for his performance as batman and honestly he did not disappoint, second gal gadot , she took my breath away.
Now the things ive had problems with, was trying to sum so much background into on movie, trying to introduce many of the legends of dc, adding some elements of injustice and the dark knight returns made the movie feel too saturated without knowing exactly what direction to take.
now lex luthor... jesse eisenberg as a villian did a decent job , but as lex luthor, he just didnt have it on him, if he would have been a riddler type villain, he would have been great. now the idea of this movie would have been great if it was done in a few years, if warner had took more time to develop more solo films like a solo batman and wonder woman and a man of steel 2 before batman v superman, the plot of would have develop much smoother, as an introduction to the justice league and the extended movie universe, it felt like a very long chapter 1 or prologue, it felt rushed and a but poorly executed.
the film is far from perfect, but still has enjoyment in it.
