Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) by Dan W — 24 Mar 2017
Unbearably pompous and self-important, the gloomy lifeless visual style (and there is plenty of style) sinks under the weight of the muddled script that manages to beffuddle and confuse exactly what the character's motivations are. While there idoes appear to have been thought put into what and why the characters were acting the way they were the execution is just confusing and ultimately laughable.
There are some great action sequences and Ben Affleck does make an excellent batman and likewise Jeremy Irons as Alfred.
