Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) by Niftyfifty56 — 26 Mar 2016
Flawed movie, sat bored for an hour, willing it to get on. I don't like Ben Affleck as an actor, but I must say he was excellent as Batman, dark, formidable and brutal. Zack Snyder is great as a visualist but a really bad story teller, and a very bad editor.
Eisenbergs Luthor was over the top, not menacing and comedic. He shouldn't try to obtain Heath Ledgers laurels. The film is very bitty and incoherent in areas, there is hardly a conversation between Batman & Superman, no character development.
Wonder womans introduction is so, so, there is a possible hint of the development in her character in the next movie.Fight scenes are amazing, but why the naked bath scence, not interested. Lots of inconsistencies such as how did Lois Lane know what Superman was saying to Batman, when she was in the next room.
Will be looking forward to the stand alone Batman and to the Justice league films .
