Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) by William D — 01 Jan 2019

Oh dear oh dear. You had a chance to knock it out of the park DCEU, yet you managed to destroy fantastic visuals,brilliant fight scenes, great acting - for the most part, and the best Batman ever, with an overly complex storyline that should have been 3 movies minimal, and some really odd decisions.

This should have been a Batman movie, with him taking on a gang led by a shadowy figure, with a reporter, Clark Kent, investigating the war. Then end it with the car chase that is stopped by superman, with Batman barely escaping.

Then next film, Batman plans to take down Superman so that he can go back after the person hiding in the shadows, who Batman believes to be the Joker. That epic battle is then stopped when Superman gets the upperhand, only for the gang to grab Superman. Buried under rubble but alive, Batman finds out Lex Luther is the gang leader. After recovering, Batman locates Luthors gang and launches his attack to save him, rather than Martha.

Finally, in the third movie, the two hunt Luthor, unaware that he has been hidden away creating his powerful suit from the Justice League cartoons. It is at this point Wonder Woman appears.

Then with each new movie, a new Justice League character is introduced. At least that's how I would have done it.
