Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) by Bob M — 13 Mar 2018
As a life long Batman fan, I wanted to like this movie. The problem is this movie only exists to set up the Justice League. The fight between Batman and Superman ends in under 10 minutes after an hour and a half of build up.
The writers also made Batman into a murderous psycho, which is a big no no. The CGI is awful, and is most apparent during the Doomsday fight (in which all Batman does is hide under the Batplane). Wonder Woman is also a pointless addition, with her adding nothing to the story in her brief screen time.
Visually, the movie is stunning but thats about where the compliments end, save for a great score by Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL.
