I freakin hate this thing. I'd rather watch Batman and Robin than this crap. Okay, technically speaking it is a better movie than Batman and Robin, but I can't find any enjoyment watching this film at all.
The tone is depressing, the writing is awful, and the plot makes next to no sense. The horrendous miscasting of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor nearly single-handedly destroys this film. Affleck is a good Batman though.
But he kills, which completely destroys the character. I mean, what's to stop him from just shooting the Joker, or any other criminal for that matter. Superman is barely in the movie, but when he is he is depressing.
He is no symbol of hope. He is no radiant beam of light in the darkness, he's just as dark as the rest of this gloomy, depressing, and dark world that Snyder and co. has created. Blech.
