Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) by Chris M — 16 Mar 2018
While it really could have been a thought provoking film to the likes of the Dark Knight this movie falls short and dissolves into and action film almost as if it knows you're getting bored and changes direction half way through.
It's a good movie until the CGI action fest kicks in at a break neck pace and you're left wondering what this has to do with Batman fighting Superman, it's more like Batman disagrees with Superman.
There was many reasons Batman could have been against Superman but in the end they went with the most fabricated and inauthentic reason possible. The movie itself touches on interesting topics but those feel borrowed from other mediums, while this could have been very well done it seems as if it fell on it's face trying to catch up with Marvel.
