Now there's a Batman! I haven't seen an animated Batman as epic as this since Batman The Animated Series! Who says that just because it's a cartoon, doesn't mean it can't be dark and twisted? This is my kind of Batman.
The kind of Batman who isn't afraid of being gritty and and edgy. This is not your little brother's Batman, this is the real Batman, not afraid to show blood and violence. I must say that, as a girl, I was always more into superheroes than I was into Barbie dolls and I always loved cheering out loud when the punches were thrown.
This movie kicked ass, literally and figuratively. Although the voices were a bit off from what I'm used to, I have been spoiled by Kevin Conroy voicing Batman for so long, it was a great movie with stunning animation and visual effects, and an awesome soundtrack! Dark Knight, Red Hood, it's all good.
Now where's the sequel?
