It's so refreshing to see the good old gritty dark deco Batman back again after the two most recent horrific Batman series. It's a great story and film that could have only been improved with better voice work.
I'm not saying it was bad, it's just as hardcore lover of anything nineties Batman I was missing my Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill. It doesn't detract too much though, and this film helped me like Jason Todd more which is quite a feat.
I especially love all the nods to the Animated series through the style of Gotham, the police blimps and spotlights everywhere, etc.
