Review of Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010) by Lasse C — 13 Dec 2011
This is the best animated Batman movie to date. It has everything you want from a movie about The Dark Knight. The Joker, a villian who is a match for Batman in close combat, a mystery and questions about the morals and choices of The Dark Knight.
What would have made this even better would have been Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as The Joker. Bruce Greenwood is a decent Batman but Conroy is a genious in loading his voice with controlled emotion.
John DiMaggio does a passable imitation of The Joker voice but we all know that only Mark Hamill can capture the true insanity of The Joker with his voice.
