Review of Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010) by Spike V — 30 Apr 2014
The direct-to-video releases usually beat the blockbuster stuff and stay very true to the comic book stories, and in some cases, they surpass them. This is the case of Batman; Under The Red Hood.
It beautifully ties-in "A Death In The Family" and "Under The Hood", creating a deeply emotional story that is at the same time action packed, and it clearly shoes what Bruce Wayne is all about.
I'm surprised I forgot to review it when I first saw it, but, this is one of the best Batman films of all time, and one of my favorite animated movies (along with another Batman classic animation, "Mask Of The Phantasm"). Just go get it!
