This should of been a film I loved not one I simply liked. DC got the R rating and they didn't take the gloves off. High impact moments from the novel just didn't bang hard enough in the film. Additional moments watered down the punch .
..(very unnecessary and unbatman like rooftop scene and a unwanted musical number during a very important moment)... overall DC held back and made a safe version of the beloved graphic novel.... disappointed.
